The National Game-Breeding and Hunting Preserve "Tundja" Yambol is situated in Southeast Bulgaria, at a distance of 310 km from the capital.
The game-greeding and hunting area is named after the river Tundja. It is located mainly in the Thrace plain and a small part of it is in the Sakra Mountains.
The National Game-Breeding and Hunting Preserve "Tundja" manages an area of 22471,7 hectars, of which 11176,27 hectars are differentiated into seven independent game hunting complexes as follows: LSK "Ormana", LSK "Ostrova", LSK "Manastirski Vazvisheniya", LSK "Topchiite", LSK "Kamenen Vrah", LSK "Golyamo Sharkovo", and LSK "Granitovo".
The National Game-Breeding and Hunting Preserve "Tundja" in the town of Yambol provides interesting and diverse hunting of: wild boar, fallow buck, royal stag, doe and Colchidian pheasant.The best trophies shot ib tge territory of the preserve are: Wild boar a trophy with lenght of the tusks 35 sm awarded golden medal.
Fallow buck - a trophy with wieght of 5.5 kg - golden medal.
Royal stag - a tophy with weight of 11.5 kg - golden medal.
Does trophies from 450 grams - silver medal.


Through the territory of the preserve flows one of the biggest rivers in our country river Tundja, which offers excellent opportunities for fishing.
National Game-Breeding and Hunting Preserve "Tundja" also manafes a comfortable hunting lodge two cozy apartments, six double rooms , and an abundant and delicision cuisine. It offers specialized transport, experienced game masters and good gun dogs. In the tourist program can be arranged not only gaming activities, but also visits to the ancient Tracian village of Kabile, the Ethnographic museum in Elhovo, the orthodox churches"Saint George" and "Saint Nicolas", which exhibit unique wooden handcrafts and mural paintings.   • National Reserve "Gorna Topchia" - a national dense forest, resembling tropical jungles with 265 plant species and 500 animal species, the natural habitat of the Colchidian pheasant.
  • Protected areas: "Deelata Koriya" - a national ash and elm-tree forest; "Ivanov Giol" in the "Ormana" area - a natural habitat for the marsh snowdrop; and "Blestyashto lale" the only place to find the blazing tulip ( Tulipa splendens Delip) a Bulgarian endemic species.
